6.    We advise you – normally by email – the Tracking Number of the package.

Allow 2 – 4 days for main centres, but 3 – 6 days for country areas.

A.   Some Post Offices require proof of existence of a company: CK Docs, Vat Cert, Tax Clearance, Directors Acceptance &c. So it is often easier to make the consignee a physical person who will have to present their Proof of Identity to the P.O. clerk to obtain the parcel.

B.   Postal rates are constant within South Africa, and it is usually cheaper for the customer if we mail direct.

C.   The SA Post Office offer a ‘counter-to –counter’ overnight service for small parcels. This is more costly, but often worth considering.

D.   SA Post Office Service is pretty reliable, and we seldom experience losses of Insured Parcels.

E.   We insure because you have already paid, so it is a safeguard for you.

F.   Condition in neighbouring countries, and overseas vary widely, and it is usually not possible to insure goods, but Registration may be permitted.

G.   Should you elect to send your own courier to collect – usually far more expensive – we need to know their name and ‘phone number, and they must arrange by prior appointment as our office is not always manned.

H.   Liquids are usually despatched as ‘concentrates’ in deference to your saving money. Add your own water – follow the instructions on the top of the polycans, then use as per dilutions indicated on the side label. 5lt DF60 may be quite alarming, as the container has only 210ml of ‘concentrate in the can when you receive it; it is very strong, but should be used within 6 weeks of adding the cold tap water, otherwise it may deteriorate. Always keep in a dark neutral cupboard away from children and pets [it is perfectly harmless to all animals].
