Product Price Increase
Unfortunately, the ‘credit crunch’ has forced us into the price increase corner… Luckily, due to our expanding market, we’ve managed to keep the increases below the govt advertised CPIX, so our clients are actually saving money by paying our new – below par – prices.
...we have to ‘jack ‘em up’ to remain in business. Trouble is that we are assailed by quangos, driven ‘statutory’ increases in virtually all services upon which we have to draw in our daily business round;
Things like import [shipping – ocean freight], and landing surcharge costs, postal charges, banking costs, and the ripple effect from overseas has caused large percentage increases in plastics, vinyl [labels] and locally in cardboard cartons. Each a small straw, but together they make a haystack.
Add to that the considerable increase in the cost of production incurred by our parent suppliers, over seas in US and Europe – where serious financial chaos reigns - and we just have to adjust prices upwards.
